Our Stance on AI

It is crazy that we are now part of a world where we have a dedicated page on this topic, but we think it is important that we give transparent information about our companies stance on AI.

We believe in making things the old fashioned way: with our heads + hands.

We do not use AI to create our card designs, illustrations, patterns, or products.

Every card is designed by us and developed through our own creative process. Many of our products are produced using hands on printing methods, where subtle variations in color, texture, and registration naturally occur, which means that each piece is entirely unique. We also assemble, package, and ship our products ourselves.

We do not use AI to generate product mockups.

Our product mockups are created using a combination of photos we have taken ourselves, Adobe Photoshop, and some stock photography to help show products in context (the backgrounds the products sit on). We do not use the AI tools in Adobe products.

Like most modern businesses, we may occasionally use AI powered tools for administrative tasks such as SEO or other behind the scenes business functions. We also use everyday software that may contain embedded AI features, including email platforms, website tools, search functions, and other services that have become embedded by default in the modern internet.

Our commitment is simple: the creative work we sell is human made. The ideas, artwork, design decisions, and finished products come from us: humans, not robots. :)
